Anthology is a membership-based organization that brings together Edmonton's culturally curious for exclusive events with a literary focus for a philanthropic purpose: to support the Edmonton Public Library, the only Canadian library to be named Library of the Year by Library Journal.
At Anthology, we believe a passion for literature is central to a healthy, vibrant, engaged city — and that a strong urban public library system can be its foundation. Our message to Edmonton’s under-45 set: books and the library are not only interesting and relevant, but can expose you to new people, new ideas and new worlds. In short, there is no other group in the city offering you edu-tainment in this way- thought-provoking, engaging, and (hopefully!) controversial topics with a fun, curious, playful manner.
You will leave our events inspired and enlightened, and we support an institution that does the same for over 14 million visitors every year- the Edmonton Public Library.
We're made up of a diverse group of passionate Edmontonians dedicated to provide an enjoyable and meaningful experience to the extended community of the EPL.

Be a part of our founding 45 members! This opportunity is open to the first 45 members to join Anthology in 2016 to be considered for exclusive mention on our website, early bird access to events, and other benefits. The founding 45 will be considered a unique subset of advocates and ambassadors for Anthology as we grow.
- Founders 45 names will be displayed prominently at Anthology events and on our website
- Anthology will provide opportunities to connect Founders to broader community leaders in our city.
